Welcome to the next post in our series of Product Snapshots in the Australian healthtech sector.
Say hello to Allevi8 by Imageryworks.
In one sentence, describe your product?
A meditation and mindfulness practices app designed specifically for those challenged by a chronic degenerative disease.
What industry challenge is Allevi8 tackling?
There is a lack of at-scale standardised pathways within the global healthcare mainstream to introduce people who are challenged by a chronic degenerative disease to useful mindbody practices such as relaxation, mindfulness, meditation, contemplation and imagery.
What makes Allevi8 unique in the market?
Allevi8 has guided mindfulness and meditation practices that have been shown to work in a therapeutic setting. It has further supportive features specific to chronic degenerative diseases such as the ESAS-r survey instrument to help users track their symptoms against their practice frequency.
What is the biggest risk to your company?
App users do not consistently engage with the app and therefore do not see therapeutic benefits from the practice.
What does success look like for Allevi8?
Healthcare payers (public as well as private) globally are engaged with us to actively introduce and support Allevi8 app to members with chronic degenerative diseases, and the members in-turn are engaged with the app and seeing better health outcomes as a result.
Why should a customer use Allevi8?
As per consistent testimony of its users, the practices in the app are proving to be useful across many aspects of the journey with a chronic degenerative disease: managing stress and anxiety, heavy and fluctuating emotions and pain, finding meaning and purpose in the challenge, and being supported in the healing process.
