Product Snapshot: MyScoreIt

Welcome to the next post in our series of Product Snapshots in the Australian healthtech sector.

Say hello to MyScoreIt, in the words of Co-Founder, Sport & Exercise Medicine Physician and Head Doctor at Sydney FC, Dr James Lawrence.

In one sentence, describe your service / product?

We help musculoskeletal clinics collect and track patient reported outcome measures to remotely monitor their patients, close the feedback loop and leverage outcome data

What industry problem / challenge are you tackling?

Most doctors and allied health practitioners don’t really know their outcomes, and as they say - you can't improve what you don’t measure. Alongside this, proving quality of care to those that pay for healthcare is becoming unavoidable

What is unique about your service / product in your market?

Our product puts the patient-practitioner relationship first and enables data to be collected from the bottom up, whilst allowing for aggregation of data at different levels. As specialist doctors in musculoskeletal medicine we can help navigate and connect the siloed and complex landscape of payers, providers and patients to make this happen.

What is the biggest risk to your company?

EMR products building in native PROMs collection, although this provides only a fragmented solution to a complex problem.

What does success look like for the company?

Routine collection of outcome measures, automated through myscoreit, and integrated into both clinical and EMR workflows to help patients and their practitioners communicate and track progress, improve quality of care and learn from aggregated data..

Why should a health professional use MyScoreIt?

To gain insights into their outcomes, to provide better care to patients and be able to prove it, to future proof their practice in a value oriented future.
