Having personally attended this in 2018 I can attest to its appeal. Although not all exhibitors and presentations are technology-based, each year increasingly they are. If you want to see what healthcare services are using, or going to use, in the way of equipment, devices, information systems and more, this is the event for you.

The 2018 version of this event attracted over 350 delegates and is organised by industry association AusBiotech. Predominantly their focus is biotherapeutics, medical technology (devices and diagnostics), food technology, industrial and agricultural.

Birthed by HISA, the Health Informatics Society of Australia, HIC is billed as “the health informatics and e-health conference and expo to be at”. With over 1000 attendees it is on the larger scale of the conference circuit and delegates range from clinical to government to technical geniuses.
