šŸ’» Top Healthtech Student Organisations šŸ§‘ā€šŸŽ“

Thankfully those in and around the healthcare world are discovering with gusto that healthtech is going to be playing a pivotal role in their sector. There is no going back to times of old.

But this hallelujah moment will not be so alien to younger generations and those starting out on their professional journey in healthcare, particularly students.

With that in mind, doctology brings you a selection of Australian healthtech student organisations taking a leading role in the future of the sector:

AIDH Student Network

The Australasian Institute of Digital Health is a big name in the healthtech sector, and they recognised the need to support those students with an insatiable itch for innovation.

Monash Young MedTech Innovators (MYMI)

Melbourneā€™s Monash University has long been a pioneer in medicine, so when its students voiced a need to support, harness and encourage forward-thinking minds, they came up with MYMI.

Society of Medical Innovation (SOMI)

As their Facebook page attests, SOMI isā€¦ā€a direct response to the false belief that students should wait until they graduate to begin making a differenceā€. Based out of UNSW in Sydney, their 2021 calendar is packed full of initiatives and events.
